First half of '99
Well, I've been off doing things other than my web page. Like (un)steady employment. And I haven't really been keeping track of things. Let's see highlights include: hearing bits of the new Dandy Warhols album (!), seeing Love and Rockets for free (!) just before they broke up, Magic Fingers playing two 'last' shows, getting a Micromoog (!!), getting a decent copy of 'The Black Album' (uh, it fell from the sky, OK?). Anyway, I have started to reach the point at which local rock stars have ceased to be stars and started to be real, flawed individuals. I could write more about that I suppose, but I don't really feel right about it. Thus the end of my show reviews.
