Episode 1: "Joe": Rhoda comes to New York City to visit her sister Brenda. Once she meets and falls in love with Joe Gerard, she decides to stay.
Episode 2: "You Can Go Home Again": Rhoda moves back in with her parents. Ida kicks her out, but only because she loves Rho so darn much.
Episode 3: "I'll be Loving You, Sometimes": Joe and Rhoda decide to date other people. After Rhoda's disastrous date with an unemployed actor, they get back together.
Episode 4: "Parent's Day": Rhoda meets Joe's parents. Joe meets Rhoda's parents.
Episode 5: "The Lady in Red": Rhoda crashes a funeral and gets a job-- but gets fired two hours later.
Episode 6: "Pop Goes the Question": Joe convinces Rhoda to move in with him. She convinces him to marry her.
Episode 7: "The Shower": Brenda throws Rhoda a wedding shower, inviting the girl that made Rhoda's life hell back in high school.
Episode 8: "Rhoda's Wedding" (part one): The first half of one of TV's highest rated and most classic events: the marriage of Rhoda and Joe. Part one centers on events before the ceremony.
Episode 9: "Rhoda's Wedding" (part two): The second part of this two-hour long episode centers on the events of the happy day itself and the ceremony.
Episode 10: "Honeymoon": Mom and Pop give Joe and Rhoda a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean. Fabulous, right? Wrong.
Episode 11: "Apartment 9-E is Available": Joe and Rhoda find a new apartment-- in Brenda's building.
Episode 12: "Anything Wrong?": Things get tense between Rhoda and Joe when Joe won't tell her he doesn't want to go out on the weekends.
Episode 13: "I'm a Little Late, Folks": Rhoda thinks she might be pregnant. Antics ensue.
Episode 14: "S'Wonderful": When Rhoda figures out Bren's dating a married man, she finds herself turning into her mother by butting into Bren's love life.
Episode 15: "Goodbye, Charlie": Joe's best friend, Charlie, and Rhoda finally meet-- it's hate at first sight.
Episode 16: "Guess What I Got you For the Holidays": Rhoda gives Joe a check for 2000$ to help his failing business. He loses the check and cries about it.
Episode 17: "Whattya Think It's There For" Joe's business is in the hole and he's forced to ask Ida for money.
Episode 18: "Not Made for Each Other" Mousy little Myrna finally says no-- to Charlie. Turns out he has feelings too.
Episode 19: "Strained Interlude" Rhoda goes out to dinner with the former love of her life, who is now rich. Joe gets jealous.
Episode 20: "Everything I Have is Yours, Almost" Joe's crazy about his privacy. A worried Rhoda opens his mail and wants to confront him, but doesn't want to upset him .
Episode 21: "Chest Pains" Ida worries about chest pains and goes to a doctor for the first time in her life.
Episode 22: "Windows by Rhoda" See Rhoda open up her business 'despite being a woman.' (And see why feminism was an important part of the seventies.)
Episode 23: "A Nice Warm Rut": Will Bren break out of her rut and move to San Francisco? Will Joe and Rhoda ever stop arguing about it?
Episode 24: "Ida the Elf": Ida attempts to solve Rho's marital problems by cleaning up her apartment and ends up becoming a candy striper at Mount Sinai.
Episode 25: "Along Comes Mary": Rho and Joe's vacation is spoiled by Mary's surprise visit. Rho doesn't want to tell Mary off, and she doesn't want Joe to know that she'd rather visit with Mary than with him!
